Assessment Explained
A diagnostic assessment is a structured, evidence-based process that helps determine whether someone meets the criteria for ADHD or autism. At Precision Neuro Clinic, assessments are normally delivered virtually.

Before your assessment
The process usually begins with gathering background information, questionnaires, developmental history and, where relevant, input from family, partners or schools. This helps build a full picture of your experiences over time.
During the assessment
Assessments are normally delivered virtually through secure online appointments. A specialist clinician will explore your history, current difficulties and strengths in a structured but supportive conversation.
Face-to-face diagnostic assessments may be available where appropriate and are strictly by appointment only.
After your assessment
- You receive a clear outcome explaining the clinical decision
- A detailed written report documenting the assessment and findings
- Personalised recommendations relevant to your needs
- Guidance on next steps and available support
A calm, respectful experience
Our aim is for every assessment to feel supportive and unhurried. You will have space to ask questions and to understand what the outcome means for you.
Next step
Wondering if an assessment is right for you?
